Tokyo -- President Asif Ali Zardari Tuesday invited Japanese investors and giant business houses to avail investment opportunities in special economic zones (SEZ) established in Pakistan exclusively for Japanese investors. The geo strategic location of Pakistan in the neighbourhood of the mega markets of China, India, energy rich Central Asia, West Asia and the affluent Gulf region makes it as a hub for exports to these regions. The President said this during his interaction with the leading businessmen of Japan and Pakistan at a luncheon hosted by the Japan Pakistan Business Cooperation Committee at a local hotel in Tokyo. The President said that Pakistan and Japan have enjoyed decade of cordial, political and economic relations, and there is great potential existing in trade and economic sectors between our two countries which is yet to be fully realized. The purpose of my visit, the President said is to seek the cooperation of the Japanese business community to explore the enormous possibilities of strengthening and expanding the business relations between the two countries.
